11th Annual LIFELINE 100 Community Bicycle Event

Welcomes Riders, Sponsors, Volunteers, and Nonprofit Teams

Over $400,000 raised for local non-profits

With May being National Bike Month, Anne Arundel Department of Recreation & Parks, Anne Arundel County Police Department, and Bicycle Advocates for Annapolis and Anne Arundel County (BikeAAA) invite you to participate in the eleventh annual Anne Arundel County Lifeline 100 Community Bicycle Event on Sunday, October 5, 2025!

What began as a way to showcase Anne Arundel County’s scenic trails and roadways, and spotlight cycling awareness, safety, and benefits, has grown every year into a celebrated annual event welcoming hundreds of cyclists and supporters across the Mid-Atlantic region. The ride typically draws about 1,000 riders of all levels and abilities, ages 4 to 80+. Registration is open, and early-bird rates are in effect until Sunday, June 1.

The 2025 Lifeline 100 offers 100 and 65-mile scenic routes with views of the Severn River, Chesapeake Bay, historic Annapolis, and more. The 30 and 15-mile flat, paved trail routes are great for riders of all ages and abilities, including families, adaptive bikes, and people with special needs, who can register at a 2-for-1 rate with their accompanying rider. All routes are fully supported with route maps, markings, rest stops, and SAG vehicles.

Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman said, “Lifeline 100 exemplifies the power of partnership by county agencies and nonprofits and underscores the importance of biking for recreation and transportation. I encourage you to join us for a scenic ride on our trails and roads so you can witness the beauty of our county firsthand.”

This community cycling event has raised over $400,000 for local non-profits, including Anne Arundel Crisis Response System, Anne Arundel County Food Bank, Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails, and others.

The free Children’s Bike Rodeo for ages 4-10 provided by PedalPowerKids will return from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for a fun and educational experience. The Bike Rodeo will include a short bike safety check, helmet instruction, and safe riding tips, followed by a kids’ obstacle riding course that provides for turns, stops, and crossings. There will also be a family-friendly free Bike Safari where kids can find hidden animals on the park trails.  Reserve your free rodeo time slot and learn more about the Safari at www.lifeline100.com/rodeo.
